Half Moon Swimming & Waterpolo Club, founded in 1898 is one of Ireland’s oldest and most successful swimming and waterpolo clubs. We will celebrate our 125th birthday in 2023.
We have a very active junior waterpolo section, for girls and boys, training several times a week in Swan Leisure and UCD Sport, in Dublin. We compete at junior age grades from U12 to U19, in Irish and Leinster Leagues and Cups
We have a proud history in Senior Mens and Womens waterpolo. Our Mens squads train in UCD Sport, Dublin and we field several teams in Leagues and Cups.
During the summer months we run four Open Sea Races, in conjunction with Leinster Open Sea, around Dublin and Wicklow. We also have our clubhouse, on the Great South Wall, where members gather to swim throughout the year
